RASA- 2024

BRANDING &

PACKAGING

We worked on Rasa’s packaging and visual identity with the intention of capturing the brand’s vibrant, flavour-forward philosophy. Rasa is known for its expansive range of beverages, each offering a distinct sensory experience, and our design approach needed to reflect that diversity while staying cohesive.

Illustration-led packaging and a flexible visual identity for Rasa, using day and night contrasts, ingredient storytelling, and a colour-shifting logo system to celebrate flavour, culture, and discovery.

For Ethiopian Moonshine Cold Brew Coffee and Moroccan Sunshine Cold Brew Tea, we explored the contrast of day and night as a central visual theme. Through illustration-led packaging design, we translated cultural references, mood, and flavour into expressive visuals. The client wanted illustrated packaging with ingredients visually represented on the back of the bottle, allowing the product story to unfold beyond the front label. We developed detailed illustrations that bring these ingredients to life, reinforcing transparency, craft, and origin.

Extending this thinking into the brand’s visual identity, Rasa’s logo was designed to transform across a spectrum of colours, each variation reflecting a different flavour profile. This flexible logo system acts as a visual metaphor for choice, inclusivity, and exploration, celebrating the idea that flavour is personal and limitless. Together, the packaging design and adaptive logo system create a strong, recognisable brand language that feels energetic, culturally inspired, and built for discovery.
